Hipsters of Nature featured on Deutsche Welle TV

Deutsche Welle TV journalists were in Accra on August 1st and 2nd to film the activities of Hipsters of Nature in their TV programme, ‘Africa on the move’. Africa on the Move is a new multimedia series documenting the lives of amazing young Africans. The programme  focuses on the change makers – role models who use their energy and skills to lift up their communities and their continent.http://www.dw.com/en/africa-on-the-move-dws-new-multimedia-series-for-africa/a-18584018. DW- TV  reporters  filmed our recycled fashion show  with students of  Mrs. Edu Sam’s school, Nima at their graduation. IMG_7840   The students were empowered to creatively design costumes from waste such as paper, plastic bottles and bags after which they modelled and danced as their teachers, friends and parents watched their performance. “Africa on the Move” television reports will be broadcasted in English, Kiswahili, Hausa, French and Portuguese.
